• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements including vendor, client, employment, and confidentiality agreements
• Manage compliance with employment laws and state licensing and regulatory requirements• Monitor and interpret new federal and state laws and regulatory developments and implement compliant strategies
• Manage litigation and regulatory matters in coordination with outside counsel
• Support corporate governance and assist with cross-functional projects involving HR, finance, operations, and sales
• Supervise compliance-related initiatives and work closely with internal teams on licensing and regulatory requirements
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active bar membership in the state where the candidate resides
• 4+ years of legal experience handling corporate, compliance, licensing, commercial, employment, and regulatory matters
• Strong experience drafting and negotiating contracts
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and technology skills (Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with highly regulated industries, employment law, compliance, or a Professional Employer Organization is a plus
• Travel a few times a year for meetings
