Robert Half is partnering with a well-established real estate development company in Miami to fill an Associate General Counsel role on their growing legal team. This real estate attorney will handle leasing and commercial real estate matters across a diverse portfolio, working closely with business teams from negotiation through execution. Reports to the General Counsel. Base salary up to $250,000 plus bonus, full benefits, on-site in Miami, hours are 9 to 6 pm, with a strong team culture.

Responsibilities:
  • Draft, negotiate, and finalize commercial lease agreements, including office, retail, and restaurant leases, LOIs, renewals, and subleases, as well as architect, engineer, and construction agreements
  • Negotiate deal terms such as rent structure, exclusivity, use restrictions, and improvement allowances
  • Support leasing matters for hospitality and consumer-facing tenants, including buildouts and compliance issues
  • Review agreements with contractors, consultants, and vendors related to property development
  • Support marketing, sponsorship, and event-related contracts
  • Flag legal and compliance risk across zoning, licensing, and operational matters
Qualifications:
  • JD and active bar admission required, Florida bar or in house counsel eligibility
  • 5+years of commercial real estate experience, ideally handling retail or hospitality leasing
  • Highly proficient in drafting and negotiating deals independently
  • Mix of big law firm and in-house experience preferred
