Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct experience with government contracts and federal procurement (FAR) is required, including compliance obligations applicable to vendors and customers of U.S. federal agencies
  • Advise on securities law and public company compliance, including SEC reporting and compliance, disclosures, and corporate governance
  • Exposure to contracting or regulatory matters involving federal agencies such as DOD, DHS, FCC, or DOE
  • Advise executive leadership on legal strategy, risk, and compliance
  • Draft and negotiate commercial agreements, including vendor and distribution contracts
  • Counsel on regulatory matters, including telecom, privacy, and government contracting
  • Support M&A, fundraising, and corporate transactions
  • Maintain corporate governance, filings, and contract management
Qualifications:
  • J.D. from an accredited law school and member in good standing with the Florida Bar (or eligible for in-house certification)
  • Experience working in a publicly traded company environment is required
  • 10+ years of legal experience, including contracts, litigation, SEC reporting, M&A, employment, IP, corporate governance, and commercial transactions
