Key Responsibilities:
Direct experience with government contracts and federal procurement (FAR) is required, including compliance obligations applicable to vendors and customers of U.S. federal agencies
Advise on securities law and public company compliance, including SEC reporting and compliance, disclosures, and corporate governance
Exposure to contracting or regulatory matters involving federal agencies such as DOD, DHS, FCC, or DOE
Advise executive leadership on legal strategy, risk, and compliance
Draft and negotiate commercial agreements, including vendor and distribution contracts
Counsel on regulatory matters, including telecom, privacy, and government contracting
Support M&A, fundraising, and corporate transactions
Maintain corporate governance, filings, and contract management
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school and member in good standing with the Florida Bar (or eligible for in-house certification)
Experience working in a publicly traded company environment is required
10+ years of legal experience, including contracts, litigation, SEC reporting, M&A, employment, IP, corporate governance, and commercial transactions
